What score do I need to get on the licensing exam in order to pass?
Due to the small number of Virginians who have taken the exam thus far, the Licensing Board has not yet set a passing score. They have been using the national passing score recommended by the Professional Examination Service (PES) as a passing score in Virginia. The last time the National Examination in Marriage and Family Therapy was given in Virginia (November 11th, 1998) the national passing score recommended by PES was 66.5% (133 of 200 questions) correct.
