The Licensing Board has designated the National Examination in Marriage and Family Therapy to be the licensing exam in Virginia. This exam is designed and administered by the Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Regulatory Boards (AMFTRB), in collaboration with the Professional Examination Service (PES) of New York.
